Reading the second/third sentences of your final paragraph of this section was like turning a light on for me. As I am sure it is with all new or renewed Christians, I struggle with the idea that being a productive Christian is based on leading others to Christ by being an example of what a Christian is. It is tough to explain to skeptical "friends" the nature of an 180 degree turn in your life... however though prayer and God's word that have been translated by you to me... I now realize that the process is long and requires perserverence and real FAITH. Those sentences that I mentioned were your words, but God put them in your pen for me to read and understand. This is a prime example of what I meant when I told you that you were like a "translator" between me and God. I thank God for you.
God has saved my life... you were the tool that He used.

To tell the truth, if someone had told me that, in my lifetime, I would be associated with such gifted people, I would have probably used a line like the title of your book for an answer. Just look at me now, I have the privilege of working among the famous and published--you will have to beat me with a stick to get me to leave this place!!!!! Congratulations to two of my favorites. My daughter has recently joined the church choir at Englewood.. She took part in Travis' concert last Sunday evening. It was an awesome performance and worship experience I will cherish for a lifetime. My wife, eldest daughter attended. Travis is a great addition to the staff. We shared in witnessing the joy, smiles and gladness in my youngest daughter and others as they particpated in that wonderful concert. Thank you, Lord, for your faithfullness!

Thank You for posting all this at the same time, I believe this series is one of the BEST, if not The Best, no, I Know IT IS "THE BEST" on Hosea I have ever heard. Another of what I call a "Real GOD Message!"
You and the Holy Spirit have so delivered a series that is applying the OT and the NT to our lives and problems of current times, bringing the Hope, God intends us to remember, as well as the problems that are ours in the choice to live our own way. Hard lessons are a part of Christian Life, as is a call to Holy LIving, (not perfection, but seeking God and forgivness regularly in our daily lives). To be Forgiven, we are required to Forgive, and that is not a popular message in society today. To save a home, marriage, relationship is our choice, Hosea has shown us the connection with Christ and the Church, and the Healing that comes from forgivness. Oh, what freedom in worship, after forgiveness is given, and recieved thru that choice.
This is Redeeming LOVE at it's best, and your delivery of it was the "Best".
The Relentless/Redeeming LOVE of God is our example for relationships, not only in marriage but with those who don't have the understanding of GOD'S Love.
The hope of reconcilation is ever present to us if we seek God and His way. Maybe not until eternity, but then, maybe Tomorrow!
I await the day the curses are reversed to BLESSINGS!. I must add, you are definitely a part of my days "Blessing".

May God Contiue to BLess You and Englewood,
In Christ Love and Prayers
Always
