I didn’t grow up Southern Baptist. In fact, I have only been “one” since I graduated from college and from the moment I entered the SBC, I have heard all about this bizarre woman named Lottie. The more I get to know her, the more I am inspired to give my money to missions each Christmas.

A simple Google search of “Lottie Moon” will pour out way more information than you could consume in one sitting. I encourage you to educate yourself on her legacy and ministry. However, suffice it to say that Lynley and I believe wholeheartedly in the offering that bears her name each December. In fact, in 2009, we have planned to do much more that we did in 2008. This year, Englewood has engaged in a close partnership with a church plant in Missoula, Montana. Under the leadership of Rich Ratts, the church has been formulated, built and opened.
